Ada Mae Smith. 89, of Dade City, FL passed away peacefully Friday, December 25th, 2020 in Zephyrhills with her daughter by her side. She was born March 18, 1931 in Arab, AL to Artis & Essie Roberts. She moved to Florida 60 years ago. She was a member of the Dade City Church of Christ. As the manager & supervisor of Pasco Twin Movie Theatre for over 30 years, she was known for her genuine love for the many who came to the movies. Whether it was giving someone their first job, arranging a special viewing event, or giving a free popcorn, she enjoyed making people happy. She will be remembered for her bright and joyful smile, silly sense of humor, and her warm and loving embrace. She loved her family so dearly and life itself.
Ada is survived by her daughter Karla Brown, her son Randall Smith & his wife Chelsea, Four grandchildren: Sabrina Brannon, Richard, Jason & Justin Brown; 4 great-grandchildren: Chelsea Shannon, Avery and Ethan Brown, Isabelle Sanderfur; and many other close family and longtime friends. She was reunited in death with her grandson Scott Parrish; her sister, Nell Harvell; and 3 brothers: Wilburn, Garland, and Harold Roberts.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 1pm Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 at the Dade City Church of Christ, with burial to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in her name to the Gulfside Regional Hospice.
