Nancy Llewellyn Gideons Crawford passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024. She was born 6th out of 10 children in Lacoochee Florida on May 20, 1928. Nancy graduated from Pasco High School in Dade City Fl. In 1947. She married Clinton " Lucky " Crawford on June 18, 1949 at the First Baptist Church of Lacoochee. Soon after, Lucky and Nancy opened Luckys Barbershop in Dade City and it was in operation for 22 years. Nancy was an avid piano player who played piano at First Baptist Church in Dade City where she was a member for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her Husband Clinton "Lucky" Crawford (07/01/1924-05/14/1986); Daughters Sharon Evelyn Mathis (James) (02/14/1951-12/14/2020) and Janet Leigh Batten (09/25/1957-04/04/2023) and Son-in-Law Burl Batten (09-17-1951-02/15/2014) Parents: Enoch Washington Gideons (12/16/188201/22/1939) and Ruhama Mae Head Gideons (10/23/189211/29/1988}; Step Father John McMurray (06/06/189304/18/1983) Brothers: Enoch W. Neices; Nita Rutherford (Ken) Sandra Theis (Bill) Debra Thomas (Wade) Laura Henley, and Theresa Osbron White, granddaughter Tracy Harmon, Grandsons Kenneth Mathis, Kevin Mathis (Heather), Kerry Mathis (Michelle) and great grand-children Karson Mathis, Kaleb Mathis, Kameron Mathis, Kayleigh Mathis, Kaden Mathis and George Clark Mathis.
