Jack Wallace Johnson age 82 of Dade City passed away Saturday, July 31st, 2021.

Jack was born in Saluda North Carolina to parents Grady Johnson and Louise (Thompson) Johnson who preceded him in death along with his wife Virginia and brother Harold "Buzz" Johnson.

Jack retired from Southern Railroad and long-distance trucking. He enjoyed recycling and bluegrass music.

Survivors include. his long-time partner Gail Schafer, her children Christina Goble and Thomas Schafer, sister Harriet Crawford (Frank), relatives, Lisa Ross, Brenda Johnson Tony Johnson (Christina) Kaleb & Logan Judy Rowland, Doc Hyder, Dina Rowland Bardin (Richard), and Dusty Rowland (Andi). He also leaves behind his four-legged companion Weezy.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on August 15 at 2 pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel Dade City.
