ETHERIDGE, Ira Ray, Sr. 79 of Dade City died August 18, 2016 in Zephyrhills. Ray was born in Bainbridge, GA to Emmett & Annie Lou (Coker) Etheridge. He was self-employed with a commercial cleaning business and spent much of his spare time fishing, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He is preceded in death by his wife Virginia in 2015, his sisters Helen Martinez and Karen Campbell and is survived by his children: Ray, Jr. & Mary Kay Etheridge of Dade City, FL, Carmen & Don Hunnicutt of Orange Park, FL, Michael Etheridge of Dade City. His Brothers & Sisters, Jim & Carol Etheridge of Gainesville, GA, Lugene & Bill Richter of Dunnellon, FL, Nancy Swindle of Clewiston, FL, Emmett & Janie Etheridge of Plant City, FL, Debbie & Allen Moore of Meansville, GA. 5 Grandchildren Melissa, Heather, Sarah, Mason and Courtney and 1 Great Granddaughter Kayleah. Rays family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 23rd from 11:00am until service time, 12:00 pm at the Hwy 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest with his wife at Chapel Hill Gardens. Visitation
