Gerald Stubbs, age 88 of Zephyrhills, FL passed away October 19, 2014 at Gulfside Hospice. He was born September 9, 1926 in Sylvania, Ohio. He married Doris Bockert of Sylvania on August 9, 1946. Doris passed away at her home in Zephyrhills on May 2, 2015. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Florience, and by hs brother Clifford. Survivng are sisters Joyce Nichols of Tennessee, Carol Shell of Michigan, Betty Shell of Tennessee and Diane Sutton of North Carolina. Also surviving are son Gerald Jr (Nancy), daughters Susan (Chuck) Williams, Bette Jo (Clifford) Rapert, Son Kenneth, and daughter Brenda (John) Mattson. Also, 10 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren. Gerald worked for Ford Motor Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1982. They moved from Brooklyn, Michigan to Zephyrhills in 1994. Both Gerald and Doris were active members of the First Christian Church (Disciplesof Christ) in Zephyrhills. A memorial service for Gerald and Doris will be held on May 6, 2015 at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ): 6040 8th St, Zephyrhills.
